Been offered a 460 Big Block Chevy pumping out, I'm told, about 420 hp

I assume its a stroker of some kind as the biggest stcok big block was a 454 ( I think ). Whats the SP?? - Anything I should be looking out for?

Cheers
Chris

....and they are bloody heavy!! Mine is a 73 @ 30 thou over with cast iron heads, open chamber with small ports that have been opened up a bit. Could do with some better heads, but will wait until the thing is back on the road.

Has the motor got a flywheel or flex plate for an auto box? These motors are externally balanced so if you change to a flywheel you may have to have the motor rebalanced.
