Steve. Oh yes you know it makes sense!!

Robert (our glorious leader) had a supercharged engine a while ago. Perhaps he can point you in the right direction? Otherwise Summit Racing is your friend.

I'm looking forward to seeing your AK with a blower sticking out of the hood!!

Cheers

There was an article in the last (or last but one) issue of Cobra magazine about the 'lowline' range of blowers that are shallow enough that you wouldn't have to destroy the lines of the bonnet - maybe just make the scoop an inch or so taller. I think they mentioned three manufacturers that offered differing boost rates.

As I plan to go this route myself, I have filed the mag - if you're interested I'll dig it out at the weekend and send you the details.

Regards
Jeremy

Have a word with Ken at AK. They fitted a B&N blower to one of their demo's a couple of years ago. Was a nice setup and VERY quick indeed.

That's the fella Ian. Lovely progressive power on that thing in a "bit of a handfull" kinda way Jon scared the living daylights out of me on country roads with that motor. I drove it back about 10 miles and was shaking when I got out, I placed my kit order immediately

Easy peasy, AK do a taller bonnet scoop to cope with it, only another inch or so higher. I fitted this bonnet to mine just incase I fancy a blower later on

Not that I want to get blown but my DAX has what they used to call the high rise bonnet. It was so I could use my weber carbs. is yours even taller?

Mark
