Oil cooler thermostat

Hello Guys

I want to fit an oil cooler to my RV8 with an in line thermostat to stop the oil cooling below 80 degrees. I have a Mocal replacement oil pump cover with outlets for a remote filter plus oil cooler but I am not sure where the thermostat goes. Looking on the net there seem to be in line ones but can you get remote filter heads with built in thermostat? Also can someone give me some pics or a sketch of the plumbing route for this lot?

Many thanks

Martin

Martin - if you 'phone Mocal direct (Think Automotive), then they will tell you exactly what is available. Very helpful folks.

You can buy in-line thermostats or built in to the sandwich plate - try here oilstats.

They do come up on Ebay every now & then
