Smile Rover V8 Oil Temp Sensor Position

Hi All,

I have for a while now had an oil temp sensor in the sump of my RV8. I have now got a shallow trapdoor sump, which should hopefully stop the sump getting smacked off the ground - the current one is the second one since I have had the car.

My problem is that the new trapdoor sump is baffled (bit like me most days) and I cant get in to fasten the oil temp sensor. What I was hoping to do was to relocate it back on the engine - presumably somewhere on the oil pump housing.

Can anyone let me know if this is possible without having to buy separate take offs, sandwich plates etc etc. Could anyone post some piccies showing if/where this can be achieved?

Thanks

cheers

Marty
