Call for Mike Huddart

Mike

I Wanted to speak to you but your website seems to be unavailable to me at the moment and your Private message quoter on this website is full so I can't send you anything.

I will ask the question here but if anyone knows Mikes E-mail address let me know.

Hi Mike

Not sure if you can help me or not.

A friend of mine has a 1932 Ford coupe hotrod and when he brought it he was told the engine was built by Huddart engines. He may have just been told this though to get a sale.

Unfortunately he has no information about what is in the engine and he would like to know what spec it was built to.

Do you keep records of all your builds and would you be able to trace it? It was built about 10 years ago.

It is a 351 Ford Cleveland. If you think you might have something I can get the engine number or any other info if required.

Cheers

Craig.

That was quick!

Thanks Mike.

It is not supercharged. It was apparently sold by you to the previous owner of the car for use on a drag strip. He was running in some street legal glass and was going to add nitrous but this never happened. Andy brought the car from him and turned it into a street machine.

All I know is it's a 351 Cleveland with Australian heads and forged pistons. It has an Edelbrock performer manifold and a carter 650cfm carb. ignition is Mallory dual point driving an MSD system.

Not much more I can tell you really. I may be able to get the name of the original owner later today if that would help.

Cheers

Craig.
