Gauge sender locations?

I have a Chevy 350 with Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. Can someone please fill me in on the gauge sender locations? I can see the senders, but have no idea which senders control which gauges. I could short the contacts and get an assistant to check which gauge flickers, but it'd be a tad easier if someone could itemise them for me! I'm concerned, specifically, about the voltmeter, coolant temp, engine oil pressure and engine oil temp.

Cheers,
Ian.

Ian, I can't help but I'm about to be in the same position. I have a couple of Chevy books but they don't give that sort of detail.

I would also be interested in where the senders are on the engine.

Andi.

This probably won't help but my water temp sender is in the head. There is a big plug in between number 1 and 3 cylinders and my temp sender is there.

It could be in the inlet manifold but this will only be the water temp gauge. Oil pressure and oil warning light are normally on a Tee piece on the back of the block behind the distributor.

Oil temp sender will be in the oil filter area, In the oil cooling lines or in the side of the sump.

Craig.

What Craig said. To add the voltmeter will just be connected somewhere in the loom not the engine bay

Excellent info... just what I was after. Thanks Craig.

Location of water temp sender between 1 and 3 plugs probably explains why my temp gauge isn't working... the sender is very, very close to the header pipes! Will have to remediate and wrap with heat-reflecting tape.

Cheers,
Ian.
