If so, take the lower pulley off and make a tool that bolts on with the three balancer bolts and has a square cut out in it to enable you to put a 1/2" rachet on it. A triangle of 3mm plate should do, you could even weld an old large socket on it to take the rachet head. This will let you turn the engine over without any stress on the bolt head or crank thread. Do not use the balancer bolt for turning it over. It IS a weak link in the small-block, believe me I have stripped crank threads trying to turn the engine over this way.
