Batteries not included...

I have a flat battery..... well it's more of a squashed battery after it got run over. The original battery was of a Simca and was a great size and weight. The only problem was that it would last very long if the engine didn't start first few times I have been looking at the racing jell type batteries. does anyone run these on the road? and what are they like to live with?

Adam

Hi Adam

I use an Odyssey PC1700 battery in my car.

It is an absorbed glass matt battery and is capable of being used at any angle except inverted. The PC1700 is not a small battery though, You could probably get away with a PC925. I used the 1700 as I used to work for a company that used loads of them and I got a "special" deal on one of them.

Fantastic battery though. Loads of power and it can sit for months without loosing any power.

Craig.

£221 for a battery!!!!!!!!!!! A normal 075 at around £30 trade has worked for me for over 5 years.
