RV8 waterpump

After removal of my SD1 waterpump I observed that it is rotating very difficult,
so I suspect that the bearing is gone.
Impellor and pump body are looking very nice.
Is it possible to renew the bearing and seal of a waterpump, and if so where can I get parts for this pump ?
...or is it more wise to buy a new pump.

Rik

Sd1 water pumps are still available quite widely in the UK and only about £50, so dont bother trying to repair yours.I guess you are in scandinavia somewhere. If you cant source a pump I'd be happy to help

RE: RV8 waterpump

Thanks for the offer Steve, I live in Holland where SD1
parts are not easily found, so I thought that the seal and bearing set was easily obtainable from Rimmers or other Rover supplier.
Guess not...

Bye Rik

BTW great pictures on your engine bay, looks real nice !!
