Inline filler neck

Hello all
I am trying to locate someone who sells inline filler necks for the cooling system.I have attached a photo. I am having problems finding one Europa don't do them, is this a specially made bit? It is for a rover V8. The cooling hose seems to be 5mm.
Thanks very much

Tim

RE: Inline filler neck

Hi Tim
Are you looking for an in-line filler neck to put in your top hose to help with air locks? If so then its probably best to make up your own. I went along this route & found that Real Steel do one that is meant for the SBC. However what I didnt realise was that the diameter of the pipes didnt match & it required a step up hose on each side of the filler - looked messy. I think its somewhere in my garage if you want it, (I'm in Leicester) but I think the best way to go is avoid in line fillers completely & use a header tank. They look nice in stainless too

Cheers

Richard

RE: Inline filler neck

Thanks very much Richard.
I have found a company in Essex that import from the States and seem to have what im after. I may well convert to a header tank soon, i just want to get out and play again after cold spell.
The company supplies necks for both 1.25" and 1.5" pipes so fingers crossed the right one is on its way to me as we speak.
Thanks very much again for your help. Hopefully see you at a day out this summer.

Cheers

Tim
