RE: Weber carb/Edelbrock fanimold

In the Edelbrock manifold the port behind the "stubby" connection is sealed with a cap head plug. I have now obtained an RPI thermostat housing, removed the plug, re-run my heater pipework (again!), drilled out the blank connection at the back of the water pump (my timing cover is from a semi-serpentine 3.9L engine)and, finally, connected the pipework as both you and Russ have advised. Hopefully, I will run my engine for the first time this weekend, But, of course, you just know there will be something else wrong...*#
