RE: Engine numbers RV8

It is worth noting that if you contact the Heritage centre, try and speak to a chap called Richard, very helpful and enthusiastic. By all accounts if you send £15 they will send back to you a letter to authenticate the engine number/year of manufacture which Richard says is being accepted by the SVA chaps as proof, which of course helps with emmission tests etc.

Perky, Have you any contact details for Richard @ the Heritage centre? I have my SVA looming and would rather have too much information than not enough...

RE: Engine numbers RV8

Hi Dan

If you phone 01926 641188 you will get the usual voice mail options to route your call. Wait for the 'Archive' option and when you get through ask for Richard.

It takes about 2 weeks to get the authenticity letter back but maybe he would speed things up if you ask.
