V8 Engine Will Not Run Properly

Hi,

I have fitted a Rover V8 to my DAX Cobra but it will not Idle or run properly (idles around 1000 rmp but sounds as though it is missing). There is no oil smoke out of the exhaust and appears to be running rich. I have fitted a new Webber 500 Carb, New Ignition Coil, Leads & Plugs. I have reached the limit of my knowledge and patience and need to identify assistance/experts around the Bristol area to decide if it is a major problem or something simple.

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Glenn
