S.U.'s versus DeLlorto DHL40's

I've just picked up an incomplete MGB V8 Roadster conversion (badly done), and intend reverting it to a standard engine - which means I've finally got a V8 to put in my Cobra !! :7 :7
It's an SD1 engine with a Costello header and a pair of HS6's.
Would I be better off staying with this set-up or changing to a set of DeLlorto's which I've already got to hand ??
I suppose I could be restricted by the availabilty of suitable headers ?? :}

Help

RE: S.U.'s versus DeLlorto DHL40's

Graham,

No choice here really, of the two I would go for the SU's everytime. Very easy to tune and reliable, also good for around 230bhp on the right engine. If the engine is coming out of a properly converted B, they should be the short damper housing variety which of course is good for bonnet clearance on a Cob.
