Connections!

Hi again

There are two connections on the middle of the carburettor manifold, 1 is 1/2" the other beside it looks like 1/4".
The top one I think is the high point of the water system.
Whare do I connect this and what is the lowe connection?

Hi Phil

On my Rover V8 the top one is indeed the high point of the water system and connects to my expansion tank (mounted in the centre of the front bulkhead in my case). I believe on the original SD1 the expansion tank used to connect to the top of the radiator? The lower connection that you mention is not in use on my car (just has some tape over it).
