Elvington Update

Hi all

Just a quick post to update you all on what we have going on for Elvington.

4.5 mile circuit (you should know this already. )

On the saturday evening, we have the following.

A couple of oil drums which GD have converted to BBQs for everyone to BBQ on.
A bar set up in the Marquee

On of our members has really stepped up to the plate and will be bringing his band along, so we will have live music on the saturday evening. :thumb: :thumb: They don't just play a 45 minute set and then go, he said they will play whatever we want and they will go on for however long we want (within reason) so make sure you bring not only your driving shoes, but also your dancing shoes.

And we have a load of stuff on the Sunday, more about that to follow.

Re: Elvington Update

Unfortunately not everyone is happy with the shape of these "barbeques" although GD are releasing a more "traditional" shaped barbeque in due course

The oil drums are the easy part. Its the stands that are the key. Loads of torsional rigidity and they will go round corners very very well. :finger: :-}

Absolutely! I've just ordered the all new GD427 Euro BBQ, made from all new parts and complete with sidepipes!
