Is there any formal Club representation at the Bonham Silverstone Classic event next Sat/Sun 30/31st July?

Hi Colin,

Finally, last week after a great telephone battle Ann the Northern Region Rep managed to organise a stand with the people at Silverstone.

There are 15 of us booked on at the moment, when you call to book tickets don't forget to ask for a car pass for your cobra.

PLEASE NOTE If you get a car pass you have to be on the stand before 10am until 5.30 and you must be in a cobra, they are very strict about this.

Thanks for this Steve, I will book tomorrow. My car's a Hawk, only been on road for 6 weeks and I'm only able to make the Saturday.

And David....yes, that was me! In fact, I saw Michael Anderson just last week! Will you be at Silverstone?

No, I will not be at Silverstone, I am going to the 289 register meeting on Saturday at Stratford on Avon and then a wedding on Sunday. I thought I had seen your name down for Stratford?
I still have somewhere the "poster" you fixed to the cars when we went to Edinburgh. That was a really good trip.
I wonder if anybody else who went uses this site

I'm having great difficulty getting hold of a car pass from Silverstone Booking Office - they say I need to get this from my own club! Apparently the contact at Silverstone is Neil Carr-Jones and he's on 01327 858400. He apparently hold the car passes and I'm told he will only release them to our rep?! So far the numbers been engaged each time I've called.

Can you help?

Quick update!

Got through and they didn't know Neil Carr-Jones but put me through to another number 01280 841 062. Success this time, they recognised his name but he was on the other line. They've promised he'll call back. I'll explain my dilemma to him and report back to this Forum asap.

Neil called me back and offered to send me a pass in the post! Apparently he's sent 14 passes to Ann Fraser (I presume Ann you're the Northern rep as described above?!), so it might be better for others to get them from Ann. What are your contact details Ann?
