| Scottish area meet? Being new to the club, I forwarded "E-mail" to Ed Strachan's address both via the club site and directly to his own address, As yet no reply, Is Ed on holiday, or has his P.C. gone down the tubes, leaving him out of contact? bottom line is that can anyone update me re any meetings or proposed events for 2006? I'd like to know, to start planning next years calendar, Many thanks, TomD |

| Re: Scottish area meet? Hi Jim, Welcome to the club! The Scottish Regional meetings are held at various venues on the 2nd Sunday of every second month. I personally haven't been to any yet due to other commitments and not having my car on the road yet. The person to contact is Ed Strachan. Tel 01828 650530 or E-mail ed.strachan@virgin.net Having read the newsletters there are various runs/outings organised which appear to be well attended. I see you hail from Aberdeen, at least you won't have far to go when it comes to the SVA!

| Re: Scottish area meet? Hi there "Bluetoon" & "Clive", Reference "Meetings" for 2006, A good guide for possible meetings here in Scotland is the "Scottish Veteran & Vintage Year Book", this basically covers all events automotive this side of the border from Jedburgh to Orkney! I usually recieve a copy in January, & will look at what might interest us, & forward suggestions to Ed for his thoughts. I think something like the rally at Scone Palace or the like in Central Scotland, might suit us all, Looking forward to meeting like minded "Cobra" fans. P.S. Bluetoon, have you seen the Mark Evans/Discovery channel "Sumo" build video/DVD? worth while a look on "E-bay" for a copy. Good luck with the build, TomD. |
