| Re: Snow and lots of it B&Q are doing 4" angle grinders at £9.99 so you'll be able to get the salt damage off your chassis quite economically

| Re: Snow and lots of it dingocooke What happens down here is we drivem' about and have fun and when we get home wash the salt off. If anyone is still worried they have a little spray around with WD. Then we go out the following week and have some more fun. Then we meet up at christmas week and have another laugh. If you think an average Cob costs 16-20k and you could possibly own it for about (again on average) 6-9yrs before you either sell it or muck about with it. Take into account it's only your toy or hobby. Most of it's plastic, ali, stainless steel or powder coated and what isn't is possibly mild steel tubing and can be replaced every 5-6yrs. An angle grinder would be a great present but actually I'll be out having too much fun to use it. I do however agree that there is only a fool who takes their car out in snow and ice or heavy rain and fog. Maybe we should have a poll on how long people have owned each car. I'm on my second in four years. I would also like to add that if you want to polish it that's perfectly ok by me. In fact whatever anyone does with their cob is ok by me as long as they enjoy doing what they do. :thumb:
