Goodwood Breakfast Club

I read about this in The Telegraph this morning. Link here for full details:
http://www.goodwood.co.uk/breakfastclub

For 2006 Goodwood are delighted to launch the Breakfast Club, an organisation created specifically for those who appreciate a fabulous breakfast of a Sunday morning, savoured after an inspiring drive on some of Britain’s most wonderful roads. Goodwood is set in the middle of very beautiful countryside and as a road trip destination it’s hard to beat. Furthermore, Goodwood’s organic farm is the largest of its kind in Europe. Add Goodwood Motor Circuit’s sumptuous Vitra Café into the mix serving our own organic home reared food, and the combination is perfect for the best of Sunday morning jaunts.

The Breakfast Club is open from 09:00 to 1pm on the first Sunday of every month from 5 March through to 1 October 2006 (except September). Each Sunday will be themed, with the right cars parked outside the Vitra Café situated in the Old Control Tower. All are welcome, just bring your classic or your modern and don’t forget your appetite!

How are those long, thin fingers, Louise? Still pleasing men?

Re: Goodwood Breakfast Club

My fingers are just fine and polishing up men’s car exhausts nicely, so yes, they are still managing to please them

Is anyone thinking about going to the Breakfast Club on the 5th of March? It looks like there will be a Seven Invasion, so it is worth going for that if nothing else

Louise
I think where you went slightly sideways was you mentioned there would be a SEVEN INVASION.
So you have probably put off a lot of people on this site.
then again a lot of people would prefer the pistonheads meet.

Re: Goodwood Breakfast Club

Sounds like a great idea. I love an early Sunday drive followed by an English breakfast.

Paul
You must have read my reply wrong I think goodwood brekky is a great idea and a great place to go.
All I said was mentioning a 7 invasion would put some people off.
You haven't been to one of these TVR / Lotus / Pistonheads meets so how would you know what goes on or what cars are there.

Nigel
Yep I'm looking forward to the next one and as rumour has it I'll be prepared and order my brekky and pay for it up front as I have been told it's by pre-order only.

Dave ha ha.. Your turn to misunderstand me then. At least you replied an dshowed willing, although I dont think a 7 invasion would put me off, I'm looking for some new kitchen electrical equipment and they do make goof food blenders

I have in fact been to neither event but on the face of the information at hand, and as great as they both may be, I would have chosen to go to Goodwood that's all.

Are we still friends? x

Re: Goodwood Breakfast Club

hahaha this is what I like to see

I understand, Dave. Obviously you can feel superior around TVRs, boyracers and hairdressers, whereas you would be defeated amongst those classics and Sevens. Oh, and stop thinking about your stomach

Nigel, you are a propppppppper Cobra owner

Plod, I am not sure if to slap you or give you a good blat
