Weald Park Festival 18th June

WEALD PARK FESTIVAL
Brentwood, Essex, June 18th
Car show, WW2 re-enactment, lumberjack show, craft show, dog show,
2 lakes and 480 acres of woodland, a £1 donation per show car is requested.

We've booked spaces for 10 cars on Sunday 18th June. We need to be in the park by 9.30am. I suggest we meet at Grange Motors, Brook Street, Brentwood, which is 2 minutes from J28 of the M25 at 9.00 - leaving sharp at 9.15am. Please post if you're interested in coming along. If there's more than 10 cars I'll need to let the organisers know. Not sure we'll see Bilko at that hour of the morning, but I'm sure he'll do his best ... Everyone's welcome - it sounds like it should be a very good day out.

Re: Weald Park Festival 18th June

WEALD PARK FESTIVAL
Brentwood, Essex, June 17th-18th

classic Car show, ww2 re-enactment, lumberjack show including axe racing & pole climbing,
craft show, dog show, forestry demonstrations, childrens rides & more.
2 lakes and 480 acres of ancient woodland and a deer sanctuary.
a £1 donation per show car is requested at the gate.

You will not need to show any tickets on arrival. The organisers would like every one there by 10am, but if you are a bit late they say it won’t be a problem. However, you will have to be escorted to the stand because the public will be walking around after 10am. It may be an idea to take Mick’s & Gumball’s mobile numbers and give one of them a bell when you arrive at the gate to save any possible hassle:
MICK : 07985 579089
GUMBALL : 07944 389665

Directions to South Weald Park: from the M25 Jct28, head towards Brentwood for about 1/4 mile then turn left at the first set of traffic lights in to Wigley Bush Lane go to the end of the road and turn left in to Weald Road. The entrance to the park is along that road on your right. Just follow the brown Country Park signs from the Jct28 turn-off.
If you fancy meeting at Grange Motors with Mick & Gummy, instead of turning in to Wigley Bush Lane, go straight at the lights and Grange Motors is over on the right, but don’t forget they aim to be leaving there about 9.15am.

THOSE GOING SO FAR ARE
Mick & Soo, Gumball, Fab, cobraman, Bilko & Barb, Fiona & Rob, Rodders & Celia,
Barry & Tina, Steve A, Dave Shep, mike & Gayleen, Dave Pete, John cohen.

We’ve now upped the size of the stand to accommodate 15 cobs, so still room for a few more.
please post here if your intrested in attending
