After a generous offer from Purple AK of a spare seat and a ticket (but a long way down to Newhaven).
I'm looking for a ride to Lemans from anyone with a spare seat from up North or Midlands. So if you want someone to share petrol costs and are from up here in "Gods Country" , could you either respond here or PM me.
Ticket if possible, but not necessary as Andy S has a spare knocking around somewhere.
I'll also bring my own tent (unless you're a six foot blonde lady wanting to keep warm at night )

OK peeps.

Firstly appologies to the few ( about 5 ) of you who havnt recvd your refund cheques yet, I ran out and still awaiting a new book !!!! ( i got through 1 1/2 books ).

OK so I have been chasing the tickets and the organisers have confirmed today that they will be dispatched to me tomorrow so I should get them Monday....
The ACO have not yet told me when theirs will be sent, probably still sufferring the hangover from the weekend !!!!!!
So as soon as they all arrive I WILL get them out to you lot asap by recorded delivery next day wotsit.

Just think in 3 weeks time we will all be there enjoying a beer or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6.......

Camping Tickets Have Arrived

We are in Maison Blanche, Zone C - Blue
Mainly Rows AB & AC which I believe are closest to the track ?????

Cannot Find any other reference other than this on Beer Mopuntain

As soon as the entry tickets arrive I will be sending them all out.

If anyone can find a map with rows and plot numbers on I would be VERY grateful.

I have found a diagram of sorts on Beer Mountain and according to that our pitches are against the track ????? the number and row says that, but the colour doesnt so I am completely confused and I have e-mailed the ACO tonight asking them for a layout or map showing where we actually are.

Andy, a word of warning. The MB map on Beermountain is 180 degrees out. The 'large' AA AB AC AD pitches shown as being trackside ended up being against the back wall at the 24 Hours.

There has been much annoyance and wringing of hands for those that bought these rows for the 24 Hours assuming they were trackside.

Read the various forum threads on Club Arnage and Beermoutain discussing this.

In any case, that map was never officially released by the ACO prior to the 24 Hours. It's origins are shrouded in mystery. The ACO have been very cagey throughout regarding the pitch marking in Maison Blanche, Blue Nord and Karting Nord for the 24 Hours.

Since the major modifications to the Maison Blanche site / circuit prior to the 24 Hours, the site has become very souless and sterile, despite the Drinking for Holland Friday night party with 300 attendees (and 2 live bands).


We were on Houx Annexe for the 24 so didn't give a stuff.

I have e-mailed the ACO for more info but not holding my breath........

So we are either next to the track or completely the other side next to the road.
Also we have AB & AC and they dont show both on the beer mountain map so I really havnt got a clue !!!
If I find out I will let you know
