A reminder to all of those who havnt yet sent me a cheque or transferred funds to my account that the deposits are due as per the e-mail I sent out.
I have spoken to a couple of you recently so if thats you ignore this, also if you have sent me a cheque or transferred money ignore this.
Its those that havnt, that this reminder is directed at.
As it stands I am about £400 light on deposits so I would be VERY grateful if you could send it ASAP. The deposit was paid last month on your behalf so its only fair in my book.

Many Thanks

Posting this up now so everyone knows etc etc .....

Final payments are due by the end of FEB, as all monies have to be transferred 1st week in March.
I will send everyone an email over the next couple of weeks to advise of the balance to be paid, but for most booking 2 tickets, camping and track its £183.00, so I hope you lot havnt maxed out your credit cards over the festive season !!
There will be no grace on this date either due to the sum involved, about £12K in total, and I cannot sub anyone.

If you want to pay me sooner, thats fine, just drop me an e-mail and I will advise by return of the amount due.

Just so as you dont forget ITS THIS YEAR WE ARE GOING TO THE CLASSIC.
7 MONTHS TO GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand that posting on here has just cost me one round of drinks but I think it's worth it.

Cobra Andy (PH id) suggested I post on here about any spare allocations you might have for the Classic. I've registered via the ACO so will get somewhere eventually - but they're not letting on and with tickets onsale direct off their website it's dragging on a bit. Anyways, if we're welcome it'd be cool to pitch up near you guys, I'm in a '78 Corvette Pace Car, my mates driving my '92.

The tunnel is booked Wednesday night and we've got a hotel in Calais ready for a back route drive on Thursday. All thats missing is a cold beer and a camping spot.

Thumbs up

Welcome Vette,

Be good to have a variety of cars with us for a change!

I have a spare ticket if you're interested as one of our party is due to become a dad about the same time as the classic so can't go now.

It's not a camping ticket, but a general admission ticket as booked through our man Andy.

Deposit paid and balance to be paid very soon.

This applies to anyone else who is after a ticket.

Sean

Welcome Vette,

Great to have some variety, maybe you could lead the convoy in your pace car ???

Cheers Sean, at the moment I'm holding out for pairs of tickets (camping, admission, g'stand maybe) as there's two of us travelling in two cars. If I can get another single ticket and 2 camping then I'll be glad to take it off your hands.

Hi guys
Just had an update from the ACO who have finally confirmed the cost for the camping.
So this weekend I will calculate the final (actual) costs due to the exchange rate !!!
I will let you all know what that is either Monday or Tues next week, then I can organise issuing the rebates re the parade laps etc. or how much extra you owe me if you didnt opt for the laps !

Also the ACO have advised that tickets will not be issued to me until JUNE, unfortunately they havnt said when in June yet, so sit tight and dont panic, I have all your addresses and tickets will be sent on by registered / recorded delivery once I have them etc.

Thats it for now and its less than 2 months away !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello peeeps, its me again.
Finally had time to sit down and work out the costs today.
Basically due to the now crap exchange rate and confirmed costs from the organisers and the aco, & the rise in postage costs, its now £4.60 for special delivery (insured next day by 1pm ), I can now advise that the additional cost for 2 general admission & 1 camping pass + postage to your door is an extra £18.00.
Its a lot and I didnt believe it at first so I have checked & re-checked it and that is the figure I'm afraid.
Basically this means that those who have paid for parade laps will be getting a refund of £60.00, as most of you have booked the above tickets, and those that havnt requested the laps will have to pay the extra.
I will start to sent out the refunds during the next week or two.
For those that have to pay the extra, my suggestion here is to save sending cheques, bank transfers etc, you bring the cash with you to Le Mans, after all I have paid the money so its not a problem as far as I am concerned.
To make it easier I will post up a list of names, your booking request and the refund / extra payment accordingly sometime this week, so that everyone knows they are on the list and confirmation etc re the payment/refund.

I hope thats clear, but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me or drop me a pm.

Regards
