Le CLASSIC 08 TICKETS

Ok everybody here goes.

As most of you are by now aware I am the club booking agent ! For the LE MANS CLASSIC 2008.
Unfortunately due to reasons beyond his control Mike is unable to do it this time round.

If I can I will step into his shoes as it were and fulfil everyone’s requirements for what will be an absolutely brilliant weekend next July.

The Le Mans Classic 2008 is to be held over the weekend 11/12/13 July.

If you wish to attend, I will require, by the 30th Sept, an e-mail from you (go to my profile and select ‘Download vCard’). DO NOT SEND A PM.

Your e-mail will need to contain the following.

1. Your site name
2. Your full name
3. Your address
4. Contact telephone number.

You will also need to advise the following

5. Number of weekend race tickets required ( 1 per person)
6. Number of camping passes required ( 1 per vehicle)
7. Number of parade lap tickets required ( 1 per vehicle)

At this time we do not know how much tickets etc will be, but expect to be in the region of £140 for race tickets and camping for 2 people. Parade laps were if I remember about £80 last year for 3 laps behind the pace car ( and with god knows how many Triumph’s) As soon as I get the cost I will post on here.

OK now the heavy bit;
By sending me an e-mail requesting tickets you are committing to purchasing the tickets requested, whatever happens, even if you for whatever reason are unable to attend, you will still be liable for the tickets requested, it will be up to you to sell them on etc, I’m not.

This thread is not an open discussion thread, the only person posting on this will be me.

I will update every couple of days with names of those that I have recvd an e-mail from and are therefore on the ticket list, if you send me an e-mail and your name doesn’t appear within a few days drop me a pm.

You do not at this stage have to part with any hard earned cash, that will come about Feb time next year.

Due to the way the ACO are now zoning campsites etc we need to get our request in early, so I will be sending off the application on 1st OCT 2007.

This thread will therefore close on 30th SEPTEMBER 2007.

After that time I will not be adding any names to the list submitted, if you decide you want to go after that date, then its up to you to sort it out yourself.
Sorry it’s a bit heavy but I do not intend to spend the next 9 months sorting out all the last minute ‘think I will go’ people, can you get me a ticket etc etc etc, the answer will be NO.

That’s it start sending in your requests.

Anyone posting to this thread has to buy beers for EVERYONE all weekend, if you aren't going and you post to this thread, you will still have to buy beers for everyone.

At this rate if we all book the parade laps together we might just get our own time slot, instead of sharing it ???

Oh deary me Dave looks like you got carried away with the parade laps and forgot the bit above, in the original post.
I'd forget them now mate as its going to cost you a fortune in beers all weekend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
