Le Mans + a little 08

I know, another thread.. I'll be quiet if you say so. My co pilot expressed an interest in making a little more out of the trip. I suppose if I tell him his fuel share will be bigger, then he may change his mind. Not saying I will, I'm a bit on the fence and perfectly happy for someone else to be organising the trip (thanks chaps) that is already happening.

For me, the best bits include the journey so I am wondering if anyone would be interested in going a few days earlier, see more of France and do a Monday to Monday trip..?
(Those Sowester people are doing it)
Clearly if I am making this trip, then only suitably mechanically minded people may apply.

It's certainly not aimed at solely SE folk either but I will be going from Newhaven.
Anyone...?

Unhappy

Would love too extend the trip but I've used up all my baby sitting favours for next year just by going for the long weekend....

All the best,

"128 weekend tickets"

"Oh and by the way PLOD you are stumping up for the beers with Clarkson by posting on this thread, read the rules you Muppetts."

Plod, I think you may need some 'even better' news to be able to buy that many beers mate.

We only do the full week because it takes us much longer to get there and back.........Mr T has to stop every 5 minutes for the toilet

Isn't it funny how he only ever signals that he wants to stop for a coffee?

It usually goes like this:

Mike charges to the front and pulls alongside the leader.
Mike signals that he wants to stop for a coffee.
We all stop at the next services.
Mike goes for a piss.
We all drink coffee/tea.
Mike goes for piss.
We all (except LS Steve) fill up with fuel.
Mike goes for a piss.
We set off again.

30 minutes later.....................go back to the top of the list.

Note for list one:-
Make sure the support van has a fuel can on board and it's full.
