Eastbourne Today

Didnt realise until this morning that it was the Magnificent motors event on Eastbourne seafront today and tomorrow.
So with nothing better to do Michelle and I popped over to have a gander.
Cracking show, vintage, american, and classic english cars, was shown to a spot on the green, and had a gander, some lovely motors there, when we got back to the cob there was an imaculate replica e-type parked next to us, with an owner who's dry sense of humour kept us amused for hours........
Definetly worth a visit en masse next year if the weather is with us

Spotted a couple of other cobs on the road a Black Dax I believe, heading out of town, and as we headed out we spotted going the other way a very nice yellow with black stripes dax, with roundels on the doors etc, sounded very sweet, unfortunately there wernt any other cobs on the green, but did catch up with and old member of the SE mob who has been absent for a while due to various issues, not least condensers, but that is now sorted so hopefully back to normal.

On the whole a totally chilled out day in the sunshine by the sea and best of all it was totally free including entry for the public.

Yep - my old home town.

Saw this last year, it was earlier I think. Unfortunately it was not a good w/e for me - close family funeral, but good to see the old home town doing something special.

I understand the Red Arrows displays there are pretty good too. I remember seeing one of those flying down one of the streets near my old home - lower than the TV aerials.

Was at this show today, met another cob owner (Yellow with black stripes) and we drove down on the cavalcade together to the show area and parked up side by side. Big turn out of cars today was told yesterday there wasn,t that many. think they should of had it on the Sunday/Monday. Good show Good weather Good day out.
