Stoneleigh
Got there around 1-ish this afternoon. Fantastic weather, against all odds! Drive over was very nice, too (some lovely, scenic roads). Drove the C6 (with roof off) as the Cob is currently in the garage with the valve covers off (awaiting a gasket set from Real Steel, so I can whip the heads off and ID my pistons, etc before ordering new heads, rockers, push rods, etc). Forgot to wear a cap (again!) and got a nice, sunburnt forehead and neck as a result (again!).
Had a wander around the club stand and had quite a long chat with forum member 'john w'. Nice bloke and a lovely Dax... some lovely touches and he fabbed the sidepipes and roll hoops himself (not to mention the laser-cut stainless gauge panel for the dash). Sorry I didn't make myself known to more of you, but I had my girlfriend with me and already felt like I 'dragged' her along, so didn't want to push my luck after the chat with John and the obligatory hour drooling over tools on the trade stands Oh, also had a chat with Mike Huddart and Dave Brookes; probably not the best timing as they were busy trying to clear-up and get going, so just a quick 5 min meet/greet. By the way, who's was the metallic grey Cob for sale outside (not on the club stand)? Can't even recall the make, but it was GORGEOUS (reg. YMO 963F). For sale at £26,500, which seemed like a very fair price indeed given the quality of the build. Cheers, Ian.

A couple more snaps just for you Andy - a real classy coupe.
Overheard at a trade stand (genuine):- Customer:- How much are these please? Seller:- They're a pound each. Customer:- Is that for one? As for the AGM, well, you just had to be there.
