    Brekkie Run 11th October

A follow up to the very successful meet last month......quote from Mark Green for a run involving various kit cars on the 11 October...

    OK Noel - thx!
let's get these times sorted then......
7oaks will start from the Harvester car park at Riverhead - leave at 9.0
the other runs will leave at 9.15 from newlands corner, oxted/caterham ( just sorting a sensible meeting point )....likely a garden centre on the a25 just on the west side of the a25/a22 junction ( about 1/4 mile from that junction)......
uckfield - will be the little chef on the maresfield /uckfield bypass.
those are leaing times, ideally folks will rock up 15 mins before........
i'll gladly let those that are interested know the exact location of the oxted + 7oaks postcodes ( i'll have to source them!)......

    mark

The run will end up at......

All heading to the Chalet Cafe at Cowfold ( a272 ) aiming to get the cars there for 10.00-10.15 for a buttie and a tyre kick

This was well supported last time, would be good if we made a presence again?

sounds good, its on the way to Pilgrim..........................wonder if Den fancies an "open" morning to show people around?

what route from caterham do you fancy guys? A22 and cut across at pease pottage? or A23 or m23?

steve.h, if you're coming from shirley direction you could join the Oxted meet point, just finalising that one, but likely to be Knights garden centre just on the oxted side of the a25/a22 junction - from memory so far there's about 4 caterhams + a westie meeting there, no doubt a few others will pop up. not sure the exact run that they'll do, but for sure i'll get them to go thru e.grinstead so they can pick up Steve M - if he's wanting to join in? and then either the b2110-a281 or the 2110/2036/a272. Hope you all got home safely. Sorry that i didnt get to speak to any of you other than Dave.....who kindly pointed out which was Noels car as he drove out with some others! For those that did come along any feedback good or bad would be helpful to know whether this is the type of thing that appeals and how we can improve/build on it.......one idea that i had was something similar with the various runs, but buddying up with another group of cars that are totally different ie/ a run to a venue, be it a cafe, pub or?? where perhaps there's a meet of american cars or ?? - would give both sets or owners something different to have a look at.....welcome to email me as always: markgreen450@googlemail.com

Unfortunately two threads running on this...my post from other thread

Well I'm definitely doing that again...few spots of rain here and there but a dry day. Good to meet some different faces and types of car for a change, realise that we don't really mingle with other clubs too much and it's our loss

Hopefully made some new friends and even better to see Steve and Jason finally on the road after all this time (and Ben)

Meet up with yank cars is right up my street Tried to hunt you down Mark but I only got as far as knowing which was your car too

'Twas a nice run down with some other cars, and a good turnout - lots to see and loads of folks to chat with. Nice to meet you all... Good little blat back up the 24 after too - sorry I couldn't keep up . BTW - nice exit at Broadbridge Heath !!!

Thanks for organising Mark - keep us posted of future events...
