2010 French Riviera Cobra Happening - booking now open

Dear friends,

Yes, you can allready fill and send back the attached registration form for entering the 2010 Riviera Cobra Happening!!!

Despite the big Harley Davidson meeting that will take place here at the same period, we were lucky enough to find a very well situated and comfortable accomodation, 300m from the beaches in Ramatuelle, just six kilometers from St Tropez: Léo Lagrange Touristra Ramatuelle - village club leo lagrange Ramatuelle plages pampelonne.
This is a holiday village, situated in a very quiet country surrounding, well equiped with a large private swimming pool, tennis courts, bar, large terrasses and wide secured parking.

We managed to put an option on 80 rooms, breakfasts and evening meals until December 15th and negotiated a fair price.
So please, if you intend to stay there, book as soon as possible with attached form to secure your rooms and thus avoid disappointment.

You can subscribe a cancellation insurance if you wish or book some more nights, please contact: tlpaca.groupes@orange.fr for details.

The program of the week end is not definitive yet, but we are working on it.
Anyway, we will welcome you on Friday afternoon, invite you for a trip in the beautiful landscapes of the Riviera sea side on Saturday and we will enjoy driving our mighty snakes together around the very impressive Verdon glens (believed to be the deepest in Europe) on Sunday.

We are also trying to arrange for receptions in several areas during our Saturday and Sunday trips...

Like for 2009 Happening, Frank Michael Krause kindly offered to deal with 2010 homepage Cobra Meeting 2010 in Saint Tropez on which you will find all details about the event and where you will be able to register as a participant as soon as you will have entered.

If any question or if you would like to enter, please first of all contact us by mail claudie.mousset@wanadoo.fr or ring 00 33 494 73 12 02

Kind regards
Michel & Claudie

Hello my dear friends!

Yes, isnt that great we go to the Riviera with our Cobras.

All my friends in Austria are forced by me to buy Cobras or GT 40 to join us in France.
Please dear English friends remember that I was silly enough to do the London Brighton run this year in my Oriental Buckboar in storm and hale. So this time there is no reason for the Brits not to join the meeting.

Reasons:
1. Meeting in lovely France with Claudie!
2. Not that far!
3. Organizers are our friends
4. BB lives in St. Tropez
I want to see you all again.

Spoke to the Poland - Cobristi, will come!
Spoke to Hannsper the wild Grossglockner guide with the Caterham - will come.
Martin gets 420 hp engine wants to be faster than me, lets see!

I plan to leave Vienna on Tuesday, will try to stay overnight at Hannsper in Mondsee, and meet with other Cobra people in Salzburg,
Then again the Grossglockner than over Plöckenpass to San Daniele to have some nice prosciutto. ,
Italian highways to Brescia where I stay overnight, from there maybe with Swiss and Italians to Genova, Montecarlo to St. Tropes.
Who will join me and have the greatest fun on earth. (My friend Michael will sell his MGA, we found a nice GT 40 for him. If you know about good cheap Cobras for sale to the rest of my family, do not hesitate to offer the to me.

THIS YEAR WE HAVE TO BE 250 COBRAS on the Riviera.

Best regards from Vienna
Thomas the Millstattboy

Just booked our hotel too. Looks like bookings are already coming in pretty well - see the latest news below from organisers Claudie and Michel....

Dear friends,

Bookings for next Cobra Happening have been opened one week ago now, what happened since then?

Thanks to Frank Michael, our gorgeous brand new homepage (Riviera Cobra Happening 2010) is now opened; just have a look at it!
There you will find the detailed entrants list with photos, happening inscription and accomodation "Tourisme & Loisirs" reservation forms as well as many more useful informations which will be regularly completed and updated.
You can also directly download your registration forms from it or leave some messages.

Amongst the 140 Cobra owners we contacted by email:
- About 50 claimed their intention to participate,
- Till now, 22 entrants allready sent back their booking forms as well as their accomodation reservations, they will come from GB, DK, D, B, NL, A, CZ and...F, so hurry joining them!
- About 90 didn't answer yet: if some of you are not interrested and do not want to be bothered anymore with our mails, please just let us know (claudie.mousset@wanadoo.fr),

For those who have allready registered, please send your informations and photos to Frank Michael (michael@k-arts.de) if you haven't done it yet sothat he can display them on the homepage.

If any question, please contact us by mail (claudie.mousset@wanadoo.fr) or ring 00 33 494 73 12 02.

2010 French Riviera Cobra Happening - Harleys in town

The Cobra Happening in St Tropez will coincide with the 2010 Euro festival organised by the Harley Davidson Club and apparently this event draws thousands of them from across Europe. So if you are both a Cobra and a Harley lover, frankly you just have to be there... see
Euro Festival | Harley-Davidson UK
The organisers of the Cobra event, Claudie and Michel Mousset are making contact with the Harley group to see if some joint gathering can be arranged over the weekend.

St Tropez Cobra Happening 2010 - book hotel by 15/12

Booking for the event is going well with 35 cars already signed up including 5 from the UK. By the time the event takes place in May I am confident we will have at least the same number as this year in Millstatt.

If you are thinking of coming then book the hotel NOW following the links from the dedicated website becuase the hotel are only guaranteeing to hold rooms until December 15th. After that it will be on a first come first served basis. With all the Harley fans in town at the same time it will get harder to book rooms as the date gets nearer.

So if you are thinking of booking then now is the time to do it!
