Donnington Show

Hi

Just got back from the Donnington Show
Reasonable wetaher today but bad forecast for Sunday
Dissapointing that the track was booked by motorbikes today and could not get to spectate on track
Forecast is rain and more rain on Sunday so I have come home not being blessed with a hood
The show was less busy than Stoneleigh or Newark which meant less bustle around stalls however smaller number of exhibitors
About 25 owners cars I spotted on the day
All fantastic in their own individual way

Be it

Nitrous :P:P:P
Head rest
High level brake level
Banging sound system :*

Whatever your bag Go For It

Saw a few very nice 4.6 installations so I better start saving

Happy Blastin

RE: Donnington Show

I am going to break with tradition and go on the right day; although it looks a bit black over Bill's mothers at the moment.
Hope to see somebody there later.

RE: Donnington Show

I missed the ducksford bash as I was out of the country but I made sure to get to Donnington on the sunday the weather was good and a spot of rain added to the amusement on the track.

I saw 8 Cobs on my run after lunch and a mighty sight they were too.

my tyres gear ratios and suspension are all a bit too rally for track use i.e I took third to 6000rmp and ran out of track but If I changed to top the I was at the start of the power band again and similarly was out of track!!

still good fun and I did not spin this year but kept it smelly and squealy.

new boots please !

I got hooked up on the guild of motor endurance stand outside and sadly did not meet any other cobra owners.

guess Ill try for some track days and the exeter show or the west mids meet if it does not clash with life as it has done up to now.
