Goodwood Festival of Speed

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is being held, surprisingly enough, at Goodwood from the 23rd to the 25th of June

More details including the entrants and directions on how to get there etc to follow

My Son had a toy steering wheel which he used to spin furiously, making loads of go-faster noises, leaning into all the tight corners, perhaps running the government feels a bit like that. You make all the noises, but when you stop you haven't really gone anywhere.

RE: Goodwood Festival of Speed

Been there past three years - if you're into speed machines of any description, it's the most moistening event you can go to!!! (nothing else like it in the world!!).
If you are possessed of a "heavy wallet", recommend you use one of the "hospitality" areas - makes a great day even better for around £180 per person - really special. (even the mobile toilets have teak/brass/musak - e-mail christine farren at cfarren@goodwood.co.uk, and pretend you are a company - wife and I go there each year as a "pretend" business!! And take the "p**s" out of all the "Corporate W****rs".
repeat - this event is a must, and you should treat yourselves.
