Elvington weekend

Hi Guys,

For those of you that are going to the Cobra weekend you may be interested in the hotel I have booked.

It's called the Gateway to York Hotel in the village of Kexby near York.

It is on the A1079 & is within spitting distance of Elvington Airfield.

Rooms are £59 per night for a double & £43 far a single room.

The hotel is in 8 acres of grounds with ample parking.
They have a lounge / bar & a restaurant serving breakfast,lunch & dinner.

York itself is six miles away.

They have about thirty rooms in total so don't leave it too long.
They accept a credit card booking with no fees charged until you vacate the hotel.
If you have to cancel providing you give them 3 clear days notice there is no cancellation charge.

I'm driving up to Kexby / Elvington on the Friday morning of the 23rd May from Croydon in Surrey so if anyone wants to go up in convoy please let me know.

Good idea having a convoy, I will be coming up from Northampton, we will sort out meeting points for the convoy in the near future.
