| Re: 18th July South Wales Run Kev will bear me out when I say my collectors & pipes were quite tarnished after the ign timing running a bit retarded for a period of time together with rolling road induced high temps. Kelvin Griffiths, (on the CRC web). passed on the details of a firm which supplied me with a couple of buffers, (sizel & cloth), together with two grades of polish, one smooth and one a bit more abrasive. I gave the collectors & pipes a quick buff with the sizel and abrasive polish and low and behold they came back to the original stainless. I finished the job off with some Solvol Autosol brilliant. When you get the details from Kelvin, would you pass them on to me, I didn't keep a record of the companies address. regards Tony |
