Exeter kitcar show

On Sunday 21st November the South Glos branch of the CRC will be meeting at the Sedgemoor Services on the M5 (southbound) for a group run down to the show.

We will be leaving at 10:00 and hope to have 7-8 cars. Anymore would be more than welcome.

Re: Exeter kitcar show

Hello Paul
We are hoping to get to the show over the weekend. We are leaving from Taunton area, so we may see you on the way there.
Our cobra is nowhere near finished so we will either be in in our Calibra or dads pug 305.
Hope to see somne fellow viper owners.
Cheers

All being well I'll be there and maybe meet up with you guys on the way.
I wish there a less boring way there than down the M4.

Hi Chaps

If you like, I will try and reserve some Cobra parking spaces at the front of the show, I will need to know numbers and the day you are coming.

Unfortuanatly, we the South West Region have only been allocated space for 2 cars in the hall, so our display will be some what depleted this year.

Re: Exeter kitcar show

Yes I know, but the show has been heavily subscribed with paying customers and the space in the cold alcove that we use, has been taken.

It will be nice this year to be able to see something of the show without having to erect and man the stand all weekend.

Will have time for you to buy me a pint, Chris

Re: Exeter kitcar show

Hi guys - glad to see you back on line Mike.

Dont know which cars are going on stand this year - I was thinking I would prefer to join the outside car park brigade this year instead of having my car on the stand - presumably were sorting this out on the 7th mike ?

I too think its a shame - it was such fun setting the stand up with three miles of black drapes !!!

See you soon guys - Weather has got to get better soon - havn't even been out in Cob for two weeks - !!!!

Re: Exeter kitcar show

By the way Mike - I do have a "reserved for Cobra parking" sign that I picked up at Le Mans

Do you reckon we could get a space in the lower car park.

N.Oakley has got one to but he's screwed his to the front of his garage !!

Re: Exeter kitcar show

Mike T

Thanks for the offer of reserved parking. I am arranging for the South Glos. group to come down on Sunday (see my earlier post) and I anticipate around 8-10 cars. We should be arriving around 11:00 so, if you can help get us a nice parking spot, it would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone who wishes to tag along, either with or without cobra's, please feel free to meet us at the services. If you are still building it may give you the extra impetus to get on with it when you see a line of Cobra's going down the road !

Thanks

Paul B
