I have notified that the engine may be overheating and wonder if anyone could advise what the correct running temperature should be. I have notified that there is a small water spray on the inside of the bonnet and wonder if the water pump is failing.

Would like some advice as not mechanically savvy.

Well, I finally made a visit to Mr Kerr tonight after work, as has been well documented previously, what an incredible place, an incredible one man industry and an incredible product.

The two cars in there looked mighty fine and we shared a few hours of Cobra, BMW and general chat.

Whilst there John demonstrated his free castor camber gauge on his website and also his tube beading tool, incredible!

A very robust tool, very easy to use and a perfect finish, I was well impressed!

A true gent!

After 10 years of ownership V8BJC is no longer a Cobra :-(. Got the letter from DVLA today confirming that the car has been returned to its original number.

The new owner collected the car today also leaving me an empty garage. Very strange feeling watching somebody else drive it of my drive.

I wish the new owner all the the best with the car that I have enjoyed so much since 2003. The car came to our wedding and is almost like one of the family.

I have met a lot of good people through this club and many have become good friends so I am sure that I will see many of you around at various events. Those that travel with me just need to promise to wait for me as I now have 200 less horses to play with ;)

Afternoon all,

a bit of a strange question.

A friend of my was t boned whilst driving his old Mini Cooper, needless to say he's lucky to be alive let alone walking. He's a bit of a car nut but is misdirected and owns a tvr Chim which has a pretty heavy clutch and bearing in mind his knee and hip are knackered he was thinking of a servo assisted clutch.

Any ideas on whether its possible and how he could get it done?

I am doing the Interior upholstery and am very interested what other Ram owners have done trimming around the MG door lock on the body, it appears to be a bit tricky with the door lock as there is little room for much trim or piping. On my car there is quite a gap between the door and body with door closed that I will have to pack out the door panel at the bottom of the door.
Any pictures of how the door lock areas have been trimmed out would be appreciated.
