No pictures !!

Hi all,

For some reason when i`m on the website I cant see any of the pictures that are usually displayed, I guess its my explorer thats being wierd (microsoft). All i`m getting is small white boxes with a red cross.

Anyone got any ideas as i`m much more at home fixing fat engines than pc`s!!

A. what have you changed recently.
B. Get rid of Norton and use Mcafee
C. Do a search as this was discussed a little while ago.

I`ve narrowed the problem down to the norton antivirus, if its disabled the pictures appear.

It never used to be a problem, only over the last fortnight or so. I`ve had a look but cant seem to find any options to allow or stop this.

Any ideas apart from scrapping it and getting something better??

There has been a lot of posts on this recently, apparently it is something Norton have done recently, I got rid of Norton and now have McAfee.

Have you tried downloading a new browser instead of IE, like Mozilla Firefox or Netscape. They are both free to download

As you load the page, look at the stats in Norton and you will see the "referer blocked" number increase.

For some reason, Norton thinks that sites running Vbulletin are referring the images from a different domain, therefore they block them.

Do a search on the Norton FAQ on the norton support section for allowed referrers, and uncheck one of the many boxes in privacy settings.
