e-mail problem

Anyone had this problem before, when I go to collect my emails they download till I reach 9 and then freeze, after which time if I log on again the provider does not recognise my password. Then a the next day it lets me log on again.

im having similar problems with outlook express 6 on windows me,it freezes constantly,stops downloading mail like yours,and keeps prompting me for my log in details which is very bizarre
any help on mater is much appreciated

Who is your email providor? I think hotmail have started to prompt for user credentials more often whilst reading/downloading mail, the use the picture with "funny" letters that you have to type in, basically this is a method to stop automated programs spamming. This could be what it is? Maybe worth contacting your email hoster first and see if this is by policy?

Try this, if your lucky enough to have webmail (most of the big providers do) login to there see if its a strange email or theres something wrong with one, then delete anything unneeded and then go back to outlook and try the download again.

If you know your isp (internet provider) and version of outlook (help>about) it will be helpful
