Re: Spam eradication

I found that bouncing spams back made things a lot worse. I use Mailwasher Pro but don't bounce mails back and once it learns what is or isn't spam, I find that I get hardly any at all.

Don't write your e-mail address on this site: I did when I first joined and was getting up to 300 spam e-mails a day to that address (which I have since stopped using)

Re: Spam eradication

I agree with Robin,
There are people out there that sell lists of active accounts to spammers, if you bounce spam back, or send 'freindly' replies, then they know your address is active.
Best thing to do is block them or just delete them.

When I first started on the web I used to send spam back and every week I would get more and more, untill someone told me what to do.
Now I only get about 2 or 3 spams a week, which I can live with
