New forum suggestion

Hey Rob,

I've got a suggestion you could look at between gluing bits of your car back together.

How about a 'Grumpy Old Men' forum (Lots of them around here.), or a 'The wolrds gone mad' forum if you prefer, to handle all of the threads that are just too way out for the cockpit.

We could have posts about Fox Hunting, ID cards, thieving Gypos, barmy Government decisions, and my latest finding:

Bristol Council want to rename our central shopping area, currently called Broadmead, which is suffering rather as there's no parking I wouldn't go near it at the best of times, let alone Christmas or Saturdays.

Anyhow, they want to rename it 'The Merchants Quarter' Good Idea? Sounds both modern and retro? Brings to mind images of our sea faring heritage of merchants plying their trade?

Well no, we can't because some jumped up f**kwit says it's offensive to Black people,

Errr

Who used to be slaves..

are you following this?

Who were brought to Bristol 300 years ago. Oh well, lets just call it the shopping quarter.

Almost forgot to mention, the main shopping road up through Bristol is called Whiteladies road, and becomes Blackboy Hill. They're ok apparently. ???
