AVI to DVD

What programme do you guys use for converting downloaded AVI files to get them on to a DVD, I've tried it with Nero 6, but keep getting error messages.

Re: AVI to DVD

On a similar vein, has anyone got the Quentin Willson piece about the AC Cobra from "the cars the star" they can upload to me.
I've only got it on VHS and I have no way of getting it on my PC.

Just found that site and tried the free version, burned it to a disk and there's about 2 minutes on waste of a disk.

Is that only what it does on the trial version.

Rich

I have it on a DVD with various other stuff Cobras, but getting it through the phone line is a different matter, I could do you a copy, unless you could advise as how to send it via computer.

Hi Mike,

I've used a program called divxtodvd quite extensively (Divx movies are in AVI format) with some very good results.

The latest version of this is called ConvertXtoDVD and publshed by a company called VSO.

See http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/

I have a slightly older version before they started charging for it which had no watermark and was freeware.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll see about getting a copy across to you.

Ryan

I'd be interested in a copy of that if you wouldn't mind. I can PM you (or you me) my e-mail address for more info/details...

Thanks...
