windows players...

Recently, whilst looking at something on the site, windows decided it needed to update to windows media player..

I have downloaded music into err.. music files and when I went into them this morning, I see there is a new icon against the tracks.

Some, well at least one track will now not play. because it is now in windows media player. Previously, it was real player,..

Any ideas?

Try going into your file right click on the track and scroll down to 'open with' the choose real player.

P.s. if you use real player all the time you should be able to go into the tools settings on real player and set it to be your preferred player again

Right click the file and you should be able to choose the player you want.

I have tried that and it works so thanks chaps. However, the volume has somehow reduced and you have to turn the volume right up just to hear it..?

I cant see how I can default them all to just play in real player.

Any more..?

No actually, just manged to default them. How? No idea... however volume still very low..?
