| Re: Hard Drive Problem Hi Neil, I had a similar problem with my last desk top which I used for business. The solution I discovered was to belt the tower as soon as it started making funny noises. Worked a treat for years. I think the problem was the disc sticking & the bang freed it. Good luck, Clive.
