any ideas how to

Ok so I can build cars without a problem but im not the most computer literate bloke so could do with some help.

I need to resize my advertising banner as shown at the top of the club forum to a huge size of 1.8m x 500mm. As soon as i attempt to resize it it just all distorts. I cant design it from scratch as the images I used are small so my question is how do I get it this big so that it can be printed as a sign.

The banner was designed in flash 8 if that helps

One way of getting it to a large size, or indeed any size you wanted, would be to convert it to a vector graphic image. I have done this in the past with images, but it does take a little time. I'll PM you my email if you'd like me to enlarge it for you, might take a few days tho....

I presume you're wanting to do this to produce a vinyl banner? If so why not get the banner company to enlarge it for you? Enlarging graphics isn't an easy thing if the original is low resolution as it pixelates when you enlarge it.

Might be easier to get it remade at the top-end resolution with new graphics and text. Been through this loop before and that's what I did.

well if the original images are low rez then the information to englarg them just sint there. you say it was done in flash..... thats a strange thing to deign an image in but if you still have the original source fil (the .fla) file ill have a look for you.
