orange broadband versus sky

Hi all, i'm moving house soon and am thinking of changing my current broadband connection from BT (whom i've never had a problem with and does everything i need, but is expensive) to either sky or orange broadband which i can get for free. Has anyone used either of these services and can give me an objective description of the service received and whether they are happy with the isp or not?

Cheers

The Sky service is part of the wrap purchased by Sky when they bought Easynet, so if you want to do a search, then Easynet is who you want to review.

I have had many calls regarding Easynet, and as far as I can tell, they are either very understaffed, or increasing their userbase. :thumb:

Can you not get one of the new packages offered by BT as a new user.
I have just done two weeks of courses and tests on all this broadband stuff. I will tell you offline why I should stay with your service provider (only my opinion).
Hey It's your choice and that's why it's good to talk.

Re: orange broadband versus sky

I've done several pcs with tesco and tiscali broadband. All of those people were very happy with it.
The ultimate is cable broadband, not cheap and you have to live in a cable area.

Try http://www.adslguide.org

and click Compare on the left menu bar.

Choose Tiscali, Orange and BT and you will see that Tiscali and Orange are both crap.

"Freedom to Surf" seem to come out very well.

Re: orange broadband versus sky

Freedom to Surf are who i'm with - my business depends on it.

I would NOT recommend SKY, Orange, AOL or BT as they are all total 5hit3.

My father-in-laws broadband (BT internet) has stopped working and he is having a hell of a job getting the "British" telecom Indian call centre to understand his problem - let along getting the internet working again.
