Virtual memory low!

Every month or so i get a pop up saying my "virtual memory paging file" is low and windows needs to correct it.
is there any thing i can do to sort this out?
Is it simply a case of not enough hard drive space

Either change the page file size, or yes more hard drive space is needed for swap space. :thumb:

My Son had a toy steering wheel which he used to spin furiously, making loads of go-faster noises, leaning into all the tight corners, perhaps running the government feels a bit like that. You make all the noises, but when you stop you haven't really gone anywhere.

Re: Virtual memory low!

This can also be a problem of pcs with not enough RAM. 256Mb is realy the bare minimum, but 512 should be fine (if just used for internet and word etc). Anything involving heavy graphics, video or sound, i would suggest 512 as a bare minimum.
Cheers
Kevin
