Unhappy log in problems

Hi Rob.
Sorry to have to resort to a thread but I'm getting very frustrated with this site at the moment.

The main problem is I have is the forum forgets me every time I open a new thread. At the home page I'm recognised in the top corner, Welcome Deck... but when I go into a thread this welcome is replaced with a log in request and I need to log in every time I want to open a picture or post and PM's end up with a permanent loop where the log in request simply reverts to a log in request over and over...thus this thread.

Have I lost membership privileges or is there something on my computer that is interfering with the forum?

Incidentally, when I look at a thread I've posted in the light beside my name is green even though I'm not "logged in" according to the message on top right.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Declan

As Chris said, your cookies are screwed and you need to delete them.

Thanks for replies but have tried that a couple of times and no success so far. Is there a more comprehensive clear out mechanism other than internet tools-options- delete temp files function?

Am getting pictures automatically opening now and appearing as thumbnails in the threads where before they were just links. Still need to sign in for posting thou. Haven't tried PM.

And I really like what you've done with our Archive Robert!! Very Sweet. B)
Related threads eh?! It'll be predicting what we're looking for next. If I ever get to the garage again I'll know exactly what I... eh, well, I'll know loads.

You could try downloading and running this.

http://www.ccleaner.com/

It cleans all temp files and other useless files on your computer. Press the analyze button then press the clean button. First time will take a while but run it once a week or so after that and it only takes a few seconds.

Might work.

Craig.

If you are running Norton, add specialistcommunities.com to the allowed sites, it may be your firewall.
