Spyware Removal

The best application I have found for Spyware removal is Pest Patrol.

http://www.pestpatrol.com/

The other good one and it is free is Lava Soft.

Re: Spyware Removal

New anti Spyware.

Microsoft have released an Anti Spyware. For those who dont know about Spyware, They are probrams that can slow your PC down, take over some parts of your internet, record info you type in e.g account details and passwords, and some can even Hijack your internet completely. Especialy if your on Dial up. It has been known that some take you to a dial up number of a premiun rate number.

It is a goot tool next to antivirus and general PC maintenance and its free! :thumb:

Re: Spyware Removal

Interesting! I downloaded and ran the new Microsoft Spyware last night. It found 7 new issues, which I deleted. I have just run it again and it found nothing, I then ran Adaware which found 16 issues, I deleted these, then ran AOL Spyware, Another 2!!! Just gonna run Spybot It would seem that not all Spyware programs find everything

Chris

You will also get a load of false positives from a lot of them, none are perfect.....
