Zone Alarm - hides CRC login

Anyone any idea why Zone Alarm Pro ( pretty good personal firewall ) prevents me from logging in and using the Cobra Replica Club site? I sign in, and the page redirect often simply fails, or I just get the home page without it recording the fact that I have logged in.
Has anyone else found this behaviour? Found a cure?
If not, I'll try and find out why it is... and post what I find. (if I remember, my memory isn't what it was!)

It will probably be blocking the cookie the Forum software tries to assign to the computer. Have a look in the options for Zone Alarm and see if you can allow cookies for specific sites and if so then add the CRC site as an allowed site.

Re: Zone Alarm - hides CRC login

The answer appears to have been to go into the Custom Privacy Settings panel, select the Cookiest tab, and UN-check the "Remove private h eader information" box.
That is probably a little bit of a security risk, but I'll try and remember to turn it back on when I'm not on the UKCRC site.
Pete.

Re: Zone Alarm - hides CRC login

Hi,

in any case I would recommend some other Fire wall as zone alarm is not nearly as good as AtGuard... But maybe the best choice is Keryo as it is excellent but much easier to use then AtGuard.
