Why does this site lack a favicon.ico?

Rob, why does this site lack a favicon.ico?

I attach one so there should be no excuse...

Re: Why does this site lack a favicon.ico?

It did used to have one, but got replaced in one of the upgrades.

Thanks for the attached on, but that is a copywright image, it is OK to use as an avatar, but as a favourites icon, I think they may get a bit annoyed if we used that one.

Re: Why does this site lack a favicon.ico?

A Favicon is a multi-resolution image included on nearly all professional developed sites. The Favicon allows the webmaster to further promote their site, and to create a more customized appearance within a visitor’s browser. Often, the Favicon reflects the look and feel of the web site or the organization’s logo.

Add the CRC to your favourites, close down the browsers that are viewing the CRC pages and then go into favourites and a little black box will be displayed next to the favourites link.

Erm - nope

On IE - nothing
On Netscape - nothing in favourites but there is an icon before the address in the address box.
