As regards the GD, I just was wondering about things like thye engine mounts (weld on eh Rob?) and the gearbox tunnel. I was just wondering if there were many rover specific parts that would need to be changed? (apart from headers/rad etc)

If you go for a standard box, then no change to the chassis. The 6 speed T56 is wider than a TKO, so the chassis has to be changed slightly to accommodate its girth.

If you go for a standard TKO, then no change. With regard to the engine mounts, you may be able to work around it and use an adaptor plate, depends where on the block the chevy mounts are in comparison to the RV8 ones.

There shouldn't be any other rover specific parts aart from cooling and drive train, it all depends on how far from the standard GD build the car is.

Thanks Rob. It's an early car (chassis number 38 I'm told) I'll have to have a think about it.
